RSA Adults has not been required to make any special vaccination before visiting South Africa, unless you come from a country in which the recorded cases of yellow fever (yellow fever belt of countries in South America and Africa). If you decide to make a vaccine, it is best to make it 4-6 weeks before departure, because the vaccine is activated within 10 days, and the flight could undermine this. Vaccinated against yellow fever are doing time in 10 years.

Children under 12 years old, who as a child does not have undergone vaccination is recommended for immunization against hepatitis B. It is also desirable to have been immunized against tetanus and measles (such vaccination is not superfluous in any case).

In most tourist areas, malaria is not found, so it can just about forget. However, in the Kruger National Park, Louvelda in Mpumalanga, Limpopo and northern KwaZulu-Natal in the summer months there is some risk of malaria, so it is recommended to take preventive measures. It is better to consult a doctor, as prevention methods are constantly changing.
