Montenegro Traditions

Montenegro Serbs and Montenegrins, although they are two branches of one ethnic group, differ markedly from each other in character and outlook. The tragic fate of the Balkan lands, for centuries served as a lure for all kinds of aggression and occupation, and imposed upon the character of these people an indelible mark, easily traced in our days.

Montenegrins are very proud and independent, with surprising peace-loving and tolerant of all manifestations of other cultures. Here, you will not see ethnic strife, the recent political crises and wars have not touched this very fertile land, no one is deceived in the store and not calculated by the market (although Montenegrins like to bargain and know how), apparent in respect to any faith or belief, and there is absolutely no traction the "beautiful life".
