Lebanon Lebanese mostly friendly to foreigners and do not hesitate to invite them to his guests.

Muslim holidays are observed on the local interpretation of the phases of the moon, and dates are approximate. During the lunar month of Ramadan that precedes Eyl al-Fitr, devout Muslims fast during the day and take food with the onset of darkness, and the usual course of business relations may be interrupted. Many restaurants do not work during the day, is strictly limited to smoking and drinking beverages. Effects of some restrictions may be extended in Eyl al-Fitr. Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha may last from 2 to 10 days, depending on the area of the country.
