Dominican Money

Dominican Peso, equal to 100 centavos. In circulation are banknotes of 1000, 500, 100, 50, 20, 10, 5 and 1 peso coins and a 1 peso and 50, 25, 10, 5 and 1 centavos. The country has officially adopted only the national currency. We accept all major credit cards: "Visa", "Master Card", "American Express" and others.

Warning - in Juan Dolio are no banks, and there is no possibility to withdraw cash from credit card. Foreign currency can be exchanged at the hotel or in the commercial banks, which operate from 8 to 15 hours.
