Havana, Cuba Havana - the capital of Cuba and the second largest city in the whole Caribbean region, is the center of Cuban life. Despite the turbulent history of the city, especially during the wars and revolutions, the architectural appearance of Havana has undergone minor changes and, in fact, remained the same as 100 and more years ago. The town is dominated throughout the delightful Spanish colonial architecture, the roads are filled with American cars 50's and 60's, and in the air hover Havana echoes its faded glory.
